“I was very pleasantly surprised! Even though we arrived fairly late in the evening, the man at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and really great! The value for money here is outstanding. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was clean, plenty of towels, and no mold anywhere. The selection of TV channels was perfect! From local channels to sports and movies. Breakfast was continental, but perfectly sufficient and fresh. The coffee was excellent and hot. There’s nothing to fault about this...

“Terrible first impression when the lady was speaking to what sounded like her Mom in a completely different language. I couldn't even tell if she was talking to me or not. The toilet seat was way smaller than the toilet itself. The shower was moldy, the doors were filthy and the bed was super hard.”

“Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Beds were so soft they were painful. AC took about 18 hours to finally hit 72° in the room. It was very clean and quiet. Minimal noise from the highway. Easy access to Gas and Food. Good water pressure and very hot shower. Only downside was the bed and AC.”

“I stayed three nights and found the room and motel good value. It is an older building and does not have good ventilation built in, so humidity is an issue: no exhaust vent in the bathroom is the main issue. Being the low-cost motel for the area, and having much construction in the area, most of the clientele rose quite early and consumed some of the item prepared for the breakfast, but there was always plenty of substitutes available. “Chanin is a wonderful host with a charming rustic cabin. We were in Columbia for a family wedding & had plenty of room to stay together with our growing family!”

“This pet friendly property was a lovely spot on a small pond with lots of fun birds to enjoy, and plenty of room for short dog walks. The host was friendly and responsive, and the rooms were clean and well supplied with plenty of linens and a working kitchen. We enjoyed our stay, and exploring the surrounding waterfalls and historic sites.”
